One Step Closer Of The Day: Yesterday, we told you Nathan Fillion was on board to play Captain Mal again, should Firefly get a second chance. Then, last night on Community, Donald Glover’s character demanded it return to air. But that was just the beginning.
Today, Jose Molina, the former executive producer and a writer for the show, said that he’s on board for a reboot, tweeting “For what it’s worth, I’ve told him I’d drop what I was doing and follow//Fillion says he’d play Mal again.” Hells yeah! Then, writer Jane Espenson tweeted at Jose Molina, “I’m there, if needed.” Look, the band is getting back together!
