Sweet Ride Of The Day: With the Akira reboot details up in the air, it’s nice to know someone is nailing Kaneda’s bike replica. That someone is Hollywood vehicle maker Eddie Paul.
The bike was originally built for Kanya West’s music video for “Stronger.” While the footage wound up on the cutting room floor, you can pick up the bike, autographed by the rapper, for $4,000 on Craigslist. But every rose has its thorn— unfortunately, this cherry doesn’t have the chops for the road, it’s just a collectible to be admired on display.
