Modern Warfare 3 Spoilers of the Day: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 won’t be out November 8th, 2011, but significant details about the characters, locations and plot of the game have already leaked to Kotaku.
Three different developers — Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games — are working on the game, so it’s anybody’s guess where the leak came from.

Modern Warfare 3 will have 15 missions, set in a dozen locations around the world, starting with a Russian invasion of Manhattan and ending in Dubai. Along the way, players will fight in Paris and London. One-off characters you get to play include a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, an SAS Operative, a tank gunner, and an AC-130 gunner.
There will be 20 multiplayer maps, too (including fights in Brooklyn and Mogadishu) with two Spec Ops modes, “Survival” and Mission.”
The entire plot of the game has also been leaked to Kotaku, including the fates of Modern Warfare‘s recurring characters.
