Sony Music Hack of the Day: Sony has been hacked yet again. This time, a group called Lulz Security has targeted Sony Music Japan. The hackers got in via SQL injection and published the details of the exploit online.
No personal data was stolen this time around, but the hackers left a note that mentioned two other vulnerable databases. It’s not known whether either of those contain users’ information.
LulzSec was clear that this attack was about going after Sony, not users, though. Their note said, “This isn’t a 1337 h4x0r, we just want to embarrass Sony some more.”
