Sony Ericsson Hack of the Day: Sony just can’t catch a break. The Sony Ericsson Canadian eShop was hacked today, with 2,000 customers’ personal data stolen. Sony says the data was encrypted and that no credit card information was compromised. The store is still offline.
Nobody has claimed credit for this attack yet, so it doesn’t look to be directly connected to Lulz Security’s hack of Sony Music Japan yesterday.
