Possible LulzSec Arrest of the Day: A 19-year-old UK man named Ryan Cleary has been arrested as part of a “pre-planned, intelligence-led” operation by Scotland Yard and the FBI, looking into hacks and DDoS attacks against “a number of international business and intelligence agencies.”
It’s being reported that Cleary is a member of LulzSec, but people in the know — like Anonymous’ Sabu — are saying he just ran LulzSec’s IRC server. The official LulzSec Twitter account confirms that “we’re all still here.”
Meanwhile, someone posing as LulzSec is claiming to have hacked the UK Census. LulzSec says, “That wasn’t us. But hey, if someone out there hacked the UK government in the name of AntiSec, well done sirs!”
