Hobbit Photos of the Day: Entertainment Weekly visited the set of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit to get a first look at the movie.

The three pics they’ve got online show Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Ian McKellen reprising his role as Gandalf, and Jackson directing Freeman inside what looks to be Bilbo’s house in the Shire. Get a load of those hobbit-feet!

The first chapter of The Hobbit comes out December 14, 2012.
