LulzSec Update of the Day: LulzSec has been busy this morning in an entanglement with The Jester — a hacker best known for DDoSing alleged terrorist websites — who is currently trying to bring down The Lulz Boat.
LulzSec’s site was down briefly today, and some thought The Jester may have been involved (although LulzSec says it wasn’t him and he’s now denying it, too).
However, The Jester has released what he claims is the real identity of LulzSec leader Sabu.
In other LulzSec news:
- The Guardian combs through some LulzSec IRC logs and makes some assumptions about the group. LulzSec responds that the logs were from a side channel, and most of the people in them aren’t even LulzSec members.
- BoingBoing analyzes LulzSec’s release of Arizona law enforcement documents. It’s a good tl;dr of Operation Chinga la Migra.
- LulzSec shares some “humble thoughts” on The Jester.
