AntiSec Update of the Day: LulzSec may have ended its 50-day cruise on the Lulz Boat, but Anonymous is carrying on the government hacking M.O. of Operation AntiSec. The group has just released more documents from Arizona police in a followup to LulzSec’s Operation Chinga la Migra.
This time, most of the info came from the private email accounts of a handful of Arizona police officers. The release includes photos of the officers’ families and girlfriends, their personal info, forwarded racist jokes, and a conversation about the first Arizona police hack.
Anonymous is also continuing with corporate hacking operations, snatching up some data from Universal Music Group and Viacom. No user info was compromised in the Viacom hack, but it looks like Universal was storing umusic.com user passwords in plain text — doh!
