Cosplay Corner: Dante the Samoyed dog accompanied his owners to Otakon 2011 dressed as Amaterasu, the white wolf/sun goddess main character of Ōkami.
As they explain in their blog post about the costume, Dante’s human entourage took plenty of precautions to make sure his outfit was safe and comfortable, as well as totally badass.
That’s non-toxic food coloring marker on Dante’s face, and the wings were made by adding fake fur, not shaving the dog.
