Google Weather Report of the Day: Google just added a weather layer to Google Maps. It shows the current weather (according to weather.com) and a visualization of the cloud cover (according to the U.S. Naval Research Lab) anywhere on the map.
Sure, you could already Google “weather” to see the temperature near you, but this tool shows it on a map. Weathermen would be totally obsolete now, if we didn’t depend on them for our supply of awkward, genital-shaped doppler readings.
