IRL PIP-Boy of the Day: Fallout fans, prepare to turn green with envy — YouTube user MyMagicPudding has constructed his very own working PIP-Boy 3000.
MyMagicPudding says:
“It consists of an HTC Desire HD as the screen and processor, and an Arduino Uno with a USB host shield running microbridge to act as an ADB host for the phone. The Arduino then sends button presses to the phone via TCP over USB.”
Unlike other PIP-Boys that use casing from the clock that came with the survival edition of the game, this casing comes courtesy of Skruffy from The RPF.
