GameStop Android Tablet of the Day: GameStop president Tony Bartel says the company is currently testing a GameStop-branded Android tablet with its own controller peripheral.
The device should be able to run Android-compatible mobile games, but GameStop also plans to stream full PC games to the tablet, possibly by using software from Spawn Labs, a company they acquired earlier this year. Bartel also said that GameStop is in talks with developers to create games specifically suited for the new system.
GameStop’s tablet could hit stores as early as next year.
