Kindle for Public Libraries of the Day: Amazon has introduced a new feature that will allow users to borrow books from 11,000 U.S. public libraries using the Kindle platform.
Any U.S. library that uses OverDrive digital book services should now include a “get on Kindle” button next to each eBook. Clicking on it wil deliver the book to your Amazon account for reading on any of Amazon’s many Kindle apps.
If your book expires and you decide to check it out again or buy it from Amazon, your annotations, highlights and last page read will all be right where you left them.
