Follow Up of the Day: Facebook has fixed a bug in its new Timeline profile view that allowed users to see who had unfriended them over the years.
Before the fix, Timeline provided a list of friends you’ve added on Facebook each year, and anybody with an “add friend” button next to his or her name stood out as an unfriender.
Although Facebook has removed this easy way of finding out who’s unfriended you, there’s still nothing to stop users from checking their friend lists and seeing who’s no longer there. There are even browser extensions that do it automatically.
Fixing the bug before Timeline rolls out to all users should prevent a bit of drama, though.
