Follow Up of the Day: Superman Fan Shares Donated Collectables With Children's Hospital

Follow Up of the Day: Mike Meyer, the 48-year-old St. Louis-area man who was robbed of a large chunk of his Superman collection, received donations of toys and memorabilia from fellow comic book fans.

Now that the thief has been caught and Meyer’s collection has been restored to its former glory, Meyer is paying it forward by giving most of the the donated Super-items to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Despite the sad beginning of this story, things have worked out better than expected for Meyer.

“I have never felt so much love in my life; I no longer feel like the Frankenstein monster. I feel that people understand me now, for the first time in my life,” he wrote on Facebook.
