MC Hammer Search Engine of the Day: Tech entrepreneur Stanley Burrell — who you probably know better as ’90s rap sensation MC Hammer — has announced that he’s launching a Google-destroying new search engine called WireDoo.
Hammer thinks WireDoo’s “deep search,” which brings up results from related topics in addition to direct hits on your search terms, can give Google a run for its money. The search engine’s tagline is “Search once and see what’s related.”
With a silly name and dreams of taking down Google with better results, WireDoo sounds an awful lot like Cuil 2.0. Remember Cuil?
Yeah, that’s what I thought.
