Walking Dead Easter Egg of the Day: The props department at The Walking Dead gave a little homage to another AMC show with a bag of drugs containing some very blue crystal meth — the distinctive color cooked by Breaking Bad‘s Walter White.
On The Talking Dead, Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman confirmed the reference was an intentional easter egg. He joked that he’d have to write some “well-dressed Mad Men zombies” into the show to complete the AMC trifecta.
That’s not the only semi-crossover between Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead: the zombie show’s SFX master (and web series director) Greg Nicotero and his team worked on a scene for the finale of Breaking Bad.
