World’s Largest Pumpkin Carving of the Day: Artist Ray Villafane had the honor of carving the world’s largest pumpkin this year, and he did not disappoint. Incredibly detailed zombies erupt from the body of the pumpkin, and Villafane didn’t waste the guts and seeds, either.
At 1,818 lbs, this thing would be scary even if it hadn’t been transformed into a vessel for the undead.
Villafane will be carving not-quite-as-enormous Jack o’Lanterns at the New York Botanical Garden through Halloween.
