Bike-Riding Robot of the Day: This RC robot cyclist, known as PRIMER-V2, can ride a bike at up to 6 miles an hour, staying stable thanks to a built-in gyro.
It’s a little wobbly on the turns and only has old-school footbrakes (as in, dragging a foot on the ground to brake), but it manages to keep its balance.
This little guy is destined to be either the next hot RC toy or the next Terminator. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it never learns how to ride a motorcycle.
