Hobbit Set Pics of the Day: Quint of Ain’t It Cool News, currently embedded on the North Island, New Zealand set of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, has posted some pictures from Hobbiton.
Frodo Baggins himself, Elijah Wood, was on set to film a scene that forms “part of the connecting tissue between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring.”
Quint reports that Frodo was discussing Gandalf with his cousin Bilbo, and putting up a sign reading “No Admittance Except On Party Business,” which should give Tolkien fans a clue which scene he’s talking about.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14, 2012.
