Wizarding World of Harry Potter Goes Hollywood of the Day

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Goes Hollywood of the Day: Universal has announced plans to expand its successful Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Orlando Resort, and to bring Wizarding World to Universal Studios Hollywood.

The J.K. Rowling-approved attraction, which cost around $265 million to build, has drawn more than 7 million visitors since it opened in Orlando in 2010.

According to Variety, the new Hollywood version could be ready as soon as 2015, although current attractions at Universal’s much smaller Hollywood park may have to be cleared to make room.

As for what might be added to the Orlando location, Universal hasn’t yet announced the specifics. Wizarding World currently includes Hogwarts Castle, the town of Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley shops like Ollivander’s.

With so many Harry Potter locations to choose from, what should Universal build next?
