Stop Motion Raiders of the Lost Ark Opening of the Day: Animator Jeff Gurwood remade the opening six minutes of Raiders of the Lost Ark, including the famous boulder escape scene, entirely in stop motion.
His video, “Indymation,” was a six-month labor of love created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Raiders. The stars are Hasbro action figures, and the sets were built entirely from art supplies, including a whole bunch of foamcore.
