Another Follow Up of the Day: GoDaddy sent out a press release last week to announce that it no longer supports the Stop Online Piracy Act, and now the company has finally removed itself from the House Judiciary Committee’s official list of pro-SOPA companies (PDF).
The move may be too little, too late, though, because the boycott that convinced GoDaddy to change its position on SOPA hasn’t shown signs of stopping. “Dump GoDaddy Day” is still scheduled for tomorrow, and Internet companies continue to move their domains to other registrars.
Popular image hosting site Imgur — which happens to be the favorite image host of Reddit, the site that sparked the boycott — has announced that it will switch registrars. Wikipedia and Reddit have already left GoDaddy.
