Evil Dead Casting News of the Day: The first cast member of the Evil Dead remake has been announced. Lily Collins (possibly best known as Snow White in Tarsem’s upcoming Mirror, Mirror) will play Mia, one of the five kids trapped in a cabin with the Book of the Dead.
Mia is a recovering drug addict who’s at the cabin to detox, and her friends don’t believe her when she tells them about being attacked by “coyotes and trees.”
The four kids yet to be cast are David and Natalie (an engaged couple), Olivia (Mia’s best friend) and Eric (the guy who unleashes the power of the evil book).
