Star Trek: The Next Generation HD Preview of the Day: Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a first look at the remastered, high-definition version of Star Trek: The Next Generation that will be released on Blu-ray this year.
CBS had the show entirely restored from the original negatives, with all of the original effects recomposited from scratch, and the results certainly look worthy of TNG’s 25th anniversary.
The Blu-ray release kicks off with a three-episode complication called The Next Level, which is due out on January 31st.
