Creepy Humanoid Robot of the Day: NOVA correspondent Chad Cohen meets a friendly humanoid robot that assures him it will put him comfortably in a “people zoo” once the robocalypse comes and machines rule the Earth.
As if that’s not unsettling enough, the robot’s lifelike appearance is modeled on legendary sci-fi author Philip K. Dick, whose books were the basis for dark visions of the future like Blade Runner, Minority Report and A Scanner Darkly.
I, for one, welcome our new robot zookeeper overlords.
