Hacked Twitter Account of the Day: Senator Chuck Grassley’s Twitter account was taken over this afternoon by an anti-SOPA/PIPA hacker.
“Dear Iowans,” the hacker tweeted as Grassley, “Vote against ACTA, SOPA, and PIPA, because this man, Chuck Grassley, wants YOUR internet censored and all of that BS.”
He then revealed that the Senator’s extremely secure password was “icecream” before Grassley was able to regain control of the account.
Grassley actually withdrew his support for PIPA last week, which the hacker — a self-described “Anonymous follower” — may or may not have known.
The Senator’s office has confirmed the Twitter hack, adding that Grassley “does all his own tweets.”
