SoulCalibur V Launch Trailer of the Day: SoulCalibur V is out in the U.S. today, along with its accompanying launch trailer.
The trailer is combination of live-action SoulCalibur cosplayers and gameplay footage, and the spotlight is on Ezio Auditore di Firenze (of Assassin’s Creed fame) who makes his debut as a SoulCalibur fighter.
There’s also an entirely new combat system that replaces the series’ trademark Soul Gauge and adds two new kinds of super attacks, but the technical details aren’t as thrilling as getting to play as Ezio in a fighting game.
