Bebo Downtime Apology of the Day: Social network Bebo went down for about 20 hours on Monday, causing many users — including one of the site’s original co-founders, Michael Birch — to speculate that Bebo was dead.
After a memorial hashtag became a trending topic on Twitter and Bebo users got nostalgic about the end of an era, the site returned with an apology message explaining that the downtime was caused by a technical snafu while trying to install some new features.
So, don’t worry about losing your Top 16 and your custom skins just yet. Bebo isn’t going anywhere.
