Bethesda Skyrim Experiments of the Day: After Skyrim was completed, Bethesda gave the developers one week to experiment in a Skyrim Game Jam. The only instruction was “build whatever you want and put it in the game.”
At his DICE 2012 keynote, Todd Howard showed off some of their creations, including dragon mounts, spell combinations, Waygate-based fast travel, and custom houses (with skeleton butlers!).
Howard prefaced his talk by saying that these experiments may never see the light of day, but some of them could also be released via DLC or made available for free.
