Star Trek/Doctor Who Crossover News of the Day: Last week, the news broke that IDW is bringing Star Trek: The Next Generation and Doctor Who together in a crossover comic that marks the first official meeting of the two sci-fi worlds.
Now a new cover featuring Captain Picard and the Doctor has popped up, along with some information about the storyline of the series.
It seems the Cybermen and the Borg have teamed up, exponentially increasing their powers of assimilation, and only the Doctor, his companions, and the crew of the Enterprise can stop them.
The crossover will be written by Scott and David Tipton (Star Trek: Infestation) and Tony Lee (Doctor Who), with art by J.K. Woodward. The first issue is due out in May.
