Legend of Zelda heartthrob, Link, gets the Little Prince (or Le Petit Prince for the literary snobs) treatment in this awesome piece of fan art by Daniel Bressette.

ThinkGeek’s latest brilliant creation is a pixel heart mug that changes color when filled, because everybody knows that health and coffee are basically synonyms.

Legend of Zelda Beer Pong Table of the Day: Part of the original Legend of Zelda world map is now available as an arena for drinking games, thanks to the River Falls Pong Table Company (motto: “Take this. It’s dangerous to drink alone”).
The 8′ x 3′ table features 128 screens from the game, coated in a special lacquer that protects it from spilled Miller Lite and other beer pong-related unpleasantness.
Check out a video of the Zelda table after the jump.

Skyward Sword Translation of the Day: Skyward Sword introduced a whole new form of the written Hylian language to the Legend of Zelda universe, and according to Nintendo’s official Zelda encyclopedia, Hyrule Historia, “this ancient text cannot be translated.”
Don’t tell that to Zelda fan Sarinilli, though. Using the tiny text from signs in the Lanayru section of Skyward Sword, she was able to translate the entire Ancient Hylian alphabet — even the elusive q, x and j — and turn it into a font.
The Hylian font is free to download, if you feel like sending messages to your friends in the old language of Hyrule.

Zelda Edition Nintendo 3DS of the Day: To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda (and to boost disappointing Nintendo 3DS sales) Nintendo is planning to release a black-and-gold “Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Limited Edition 3DS” later this month.
The handheld features gold accents and the triforce crest of Hyrule, and it will be bundled with a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.
Nintendo hasn’t released a price yet, and (so far) this special-edition system has only been announced for the European market.

Cosplay Corner: Hey, listen! Look over here at this adorable one-year-old Link cosplayer!
Eric3Dee writes, “So, we dressed our one year old up as Link for Halloween this year and thought we’d have a little fun adding a Navi flying around him.”
Check out the video after the jump. (Warning: contains Navi.)
Show us your cosplay! Head over to the submit page and send in your best photos.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Intro of the Day: The introduction to Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is out, courtesy of Nintendo’s Japanese site.
It sets up the game’s storyline using shadowy inkblots that look like a prettier update of Wind Waker‘s ancient-painting-style intro.
Warning: contains plot spoilers (obviously), but this is a Zelda game. The legend is new, but the basic formula remains the same.
Skyward Sword is due out November 20th.

Nintendo Announcements of the Day: At a pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference last night, Nintendo confirmed a circle pad attachment for the 3DS, announced 3DS titles for several popular game franchises, and talked Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The clunky 3DS Slidepad attachment, which brings new buttons and a second circle pad to the 3DS, is official, and should be released in Japan on December 10th. It will cost around $20 and run on one AAA battery.
Upcoming Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts games will support the new add-on, as will Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3G, which was originally rumored to be the reason for the device.
Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS both have release dates: November 13 and December 4, respectively. Other familiar franchises will be coming to the 3DS next year, including Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion, Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem.
In other 3DS news, the system is getting a new “Misty Pink” colorway and a software update that allows its camera to take 3D video footage.
On the Wii side of things, Shigeru Miyamoto claimed that Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was shaping up to be one of Nintendo’s biggest releases ever, with 50-100 hours of gameplay and over 100 minutes of cutscenes. Miyamoto’s message may have mistranslated, though, with some people arguing he said “100 demo scenes,” not “100 hours.”

Zelda Theme Cover of the Day: A group of musically inclined geeks executed an inspiring cover of The Legend of Zelda theme over a four day period with a marimba, snare drum, cymbal, bells, timpani, and a triangle.
The creators note, “We still don’t use sheet music! Everything is done by ear.”
