Offensive Video Game Hoax of the Day: A cringe-worthy website and trailer for Slavery the Game has been making the rounds online, peddling itself as a real time strategy game.
It looks to be a hoax (albeit a creepily well-executed one): the site lists the game as Adults Only but the ESRB doesn’t have a rating for it, and the supposed developer, Javelin Reds Gaming, doesn’t exist. The emblems for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC line the bottom of the website, but 360 and PS3 do not release Adult Only titles.
We’re not sure what they’re trying to accomplish, but from here it looks like there’s a pretty big chance Slavery the Game is a big, fat troll.
